Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded more than one million informational news europe today booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
